How it works
1. Buy in the app. Under Dictionary, every field is a tile with its price. “Buy” opens the checkout with your address; you pay by card, PayPal or invoice through Lemon Squeezy.
2. Load and switch on. After the purchase the app fetches the package from our licensing service; a switch on the tile turns it on. The same on every computer of your licence.
3. Dictate as always. Recognition compares every word by spelling and sound with the dictionary. “Spondilolisthesis” becomes Spondylolisthesis, “Neuroforamen Stenose” becomes Neuroforamenstenose, before the language model sees the text.
4. Spelling rules included. Every field brings rules the language model follows: in radiology, vertebral bodies and segments are always written BWK12, LWK4/5 or BWK12/LWK1; in a law firm, provisions read § 823 Abs. 1 BGB; in tax advisory, amounts read 12.500,00 € and provisions § 15 Abs. 1 Nr. 2 EStG.
Only with your licence
A specialist dictionary belongs to the licence you bought it with. The lists are stored encrypted on your computer; the key is derived from licence and computer. Copied to another computer or used with another licence, the file is worthless. Switch computers within your licence and the app simply loads the package again.
Local like everything else
The lists load once from our licensing service; after that everything happens on your computer. No dictation, no report and no document leaves it.
Your own terms on top
Names of referring doctors, clients or suppliers go into the app's dictionary yourself, with a sentence or via the ring (“Remember this word”). Your own terms and the specialist dictionaries complement each other; your own take precedence.

Frequently asked questions about the dictionaries
How do I buy a specialist dictionary?
In SpeechToWork, under Dictionary, click the tile. “Buy” opens the checkout of our payment provider Lemon Squeezy with your address filled in. After the purchase click “Refresh” once; the package is there and can be switched on.
What does “tied to your licence” mean?
The package belongs to the licence you bought it with and runs on every computer of that licence. The lists are stored encrypted on your computer; copied to another computer they are worthless. Passing them on does not work, switching computers within your licence does.
What about updates?
New terms and spelling rules arrive automatically, without a new purchase and without a new version of the software. The app fetches the lists once a day in the background.
Does everything stay on my computer?
Yes. The lists load once from our licensing service to your computer; after that recognition works locally as always. No dictation, no report and no document leaves the computer.
Are the dictionaries available in English?
The vocabulary is German, built for German-speaking practices, law firms and businesses. English technical terms that are common in German usage are included where they belong.
